Facebook Reels has gone global, bringing a plethora of new features with it

Facebook Reels is now available worldwide, with additional features and advertisements. Until last September, this TikTok competitor feature was only available in the United States.

Reels is a Facebook game for Android and iOS that is available in 150 countries.

After concerns that the number of Facebook users is declining, Meta has decided to broaden its flagship feature.

In a Facebook post, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg stated, "Reels are already our fastest-growing content format, and today we're making them available to everyone on Facebook globally."

Meta has added numerous new editing options to Facebook Reels, in addition to expanding Reels services to more countries. The majority of these functionalities are already accessible in the US on Facebook Reels and in 50 countries on Instagram Reels.

Users of Facebook Reels will be able to use the Remix feature, which is comparable to TikTok's Duet feature. In addition to the existing reel on Facebook, this functionality allows authors to construct their own reel. In addition, Facebook Reels now have a 60-second duration, similar to Instagram Reels.

Drafts and Video Clipping are two more tools that will be available soon. Drafts enable content creators to generate and preserve content for later upload. While video clipping will aid in the editing of live videos or extended content for reels,

Meta also adds additional advertisements to Facebook Reels. There will be two new ad formats: transparent overlay banner ads at the bottom of the reel and static sticker ads that artists can position wherever on the reel.

Facebook will also give creators more ways to make money, including access to an ad-placement program and the launch of a Stars feature that allows fans to pay creators directly.

Facebook users will be able to share their Reels to Stories and watch Reels via the Facebook Watch tab in the coming weeks.

Reels and creation tools will also appear at the top of consumers' feeds on Facebook.
